Four Sundays (October 11, October 18, October 25, November 1) from 14:00 – 17:30

Discover (or rediscover!) the pleasure of messing around on the page and writing just for fun. Learn to trust your mind and the creative process and build confidence in your writing and in yourself as a writer.

•Learn techniques to tap into your creativity and strengthen your writing muscle.

•Create short pieces of writing to share with the group.

•Practice the art of giving and receiving feedback.

•Use listening exchanges to explore your thinking and build community.

•Tackle issues (perfectionism, fear of making mistakes, and fear of writing something bad) that get in the way of doing the kind of writing you want to do.

This series is for writers of all levels, including beginners and teenagers. Classes will be in English, but speakers of all languages are welcome.

To register or to ask a question about this series, write to Lisa at store@themunichreadery.com

Lisa Yarger is the author of the award-winning book, Lovie: The Story of a Southern Midwife and an Unlikely Friendship (University of North Carolina Press).
